Yesterday The Cudas won the Local League Grand Final against The Crocs (Copenhagen Crocodiles)! Congratulations to everyone involved with the club. Lets see if we can bag the Premier League trophy as well! Congratulations also to Robbie D on his 100th game and to Mogens Hansen for the Best On Ground award.

The three little pigs and the big bad...mermaid?!

Last night was a real fairy tale night. We went out for a fabolous dinner at Les Trois Cochons (the three little pigs). Afterwards we went and saw the Mermaid @ Folketeatret. It was an interesting show with lots of acrobatics that gave you the impression of a 3D below-the-surface environment where up and down also played a part (like when you're diving). We can recommend it.

Google Earth!

Google Earth. This you just have to try. It is really amazing. I know it has been out for awhile, but I didn't get around to trying it before today. Just amazing. Try and zoom in on your hometown, and then choose 'Fly to' New York or somesuch. Cool.

Gone Fishing!

Yesterday I went fishing for the first time. Well, it wasn't actually the first time, but lets just say that I don't go fishing very often. Apparently it wasn't the right weather, 'cause the fish just would not bite. Only two rainbow trouts were brought home from the trip, but at least it was sunny, and we all got sunburned :-)

OK, maybe it wasn't as idyllic as seen on the left, but it was still fishing. You can check out the location here.

A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

This long awaited movie finally made it to the Danish cinema. I loved the books and was a bit worried that the movie could not possibly be any good. The few trailers hadn't heightened my expectations - I just could not see how Sam Rockwell could be Zaphod. Anyway, I found the movie entertaining, although it didn't match the quality of the books. It is, however, worth watching.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. (Douglas Adams)
