Two Emmys for Denmark

A big day for Danish TV-series. Ørnen (The Eagle) and Unge Andersen (Young Andersen) both won an Emmy in New York. Good work DR Drama.

Back from Egypt

After the trip to Mount Sinai we went back to Dahab to do some more diving and some R&R.

Mount Sinai and St Katherine Monastery

Yesterday we took a taxi to St Kathrine where we stayed at the Monastery Guesthouse. We got up in the middle on the night and joined the throng of pilgrims, camels, and other travellers in climbing Mount Sinai. It was cold, dark, and hard going, but we got to the top in time to see a magnificent sunrise!




The trip down from Mount Sinai was along the 3750 Steps of Repentance.


Down the bottom of the stairs awaited the Saint Kathrine Monastery - the oldest Christian monastery in the world housing an interesting collection of old texts and a beautiful church.
