Masterpiece! What a great book! An astronaut is stranded on Mars, and we follow him as he waits for death or rescue. He doesn’t just sit idly by mind you.
I’m not an astrophysicist, but the science seems realistic, and the story-telling is brilliant. Go get it

All the different story thread and all our friends from book one are brought together in this thrilling conclusion to the series. Great book!
Perrin’s past catches up to him when he encounters the Children of the Light, The White Tower is plagued by assassins, and Egwene battle one of the Forsaken. Aviendha faces the final challenge to become a Wise One, and Mat goes on a harrying adventure to the Tower of Ghenjei. Tarmon Gai’don is approaching!
Endnu en glimrende bog om Mørch og Afdeling Q. Ikke super kompliceret men spændende og godt skrevet.
Nogle onde kostskoleelever og deres gamle efterladenskaber er fokus for fortællingen.
Også et godt break i læsningen af The Wheel of Time bøgerne.
After Robert Jordan’s death his estate contacted Brandon Sanderson to get him to write the last book of the series. The last book turned into three, and I was of course a bit worried about the quality. But I must say, that I’m impressed by Sanderson’s work. I can’t feel the difference! The biggest difference I found was in the reading. As with the other books, this one is read expertly by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading, but know suddenly voices for characters and pronunciations of name are different. Even though in some cases it is a change for the better it was still a bit strange after so many books.
This book focuses on Rand’s struggle for his sanity and Egwene struggle to reunite the Aes Sedai.
Tarmon Gai’don draws ever nearer!
Galad takes over the Whitecloaks, Aes Sedai plot in the White Tower.
Mat is reunited with (most of) his band and gets married!
Rand tries to negotiate an alliance with the Seanchan, but finds it is a trap by Semirhage. Oh, the horror!
Perrin is better off and manages to rescue Faile, but now Egwene is in captivity in the White Tower. Will it never end?
Much more happened in this volume, so it seems the story is back on track. Yeah, on to the next one!
Good old Perrin is tied up in knot because Faile is still captured. Mat is gallivanting around the countryside with a Seanchan noblewoman that will most definitely surprise him.
Meanwhile Elayne struggles to secure her hold on the Lion throne. Egwene lays siege to the White Tower, but runs into some trouble!
All in all not the best book in the series, so I guess I’ll just have to plow through the next one to see how Rand is doing.
Another great installment in the series. Rand goes to somewhere where the his magic doesn’t work, and he works on removing the taint from the power. Not a lot of news from Mat or Perrin, so maybe that will come in the next book?
Selvfølgelig kan man huske indersiden! Stjerneangriberen Lars Elstrup kan jeg huske, men ikke så meget af det, der foregik omkring ham, hvor han spillede, og hvordan han stoppede. Det er først noget, jeg har hørt langt senere. God bog der går bag om medaljen.
