We arrived in noisy, polluted, chaotic Cairo yesterday. It was quite a change from Copenhagen. Last night we went on a Nile cruise, which included an Egyptian buffet and some entertainment consisting of various dance acts – some interesting and some dull.
Today we went to see the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. They were truly impressive! Unfortunately the area is littered with old decrepit buildings and aggressive camel tour operators 😉
